摘要

Calculations have been made of the effect of prompt neutrons on the deflection and time of flight of fission fragments. This has been done as an aid to the analysis of data from fission experiments using time-of-flight techniques.nAssuming that the energy distribution function of prompt neutrons is that given by Watt, an expression is obtained for the probability distribution in the angle between the final velocities of the two frag¬ments as a function of the number of prompt neutrons emitted and the masses of the fragments.
