THE PREPARATION OF HIGH-PURITY BERYLLIUM OXIDE

Some procedures for the preparation of high purity beryllium oxide have been examined. By combining the most efficient purification stages a method has been devised which gives a product having less than 1 p.p.m. of most metallic impurities. Full experimental details of the final method are given in an Appendix.
