The atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method was used to obtain the hyperfine structure separation △ν, the nuclear magnetic dipole moment μ1, and the hyperfine structure anomaly △, of Cs131, Independent values ofμI and △ν were obtained by observing one of the △LF=± 1 doublets in a field-independent region. The measurements were made for the 2S1/2 electronic ground state;the values obtained aren△tν=13181.3805(30) Mc/sec,nμI = 3.525 (4) nm,ngI = 7.678(8)X10-4,n131△133=-0.65(10)%,n131△135=-0.61(10)%.nThe values ofμI and gI are not corrected for diamagnetic shielding. A theoretical nuclear magnetic moment was calculated by using configuration mixing theory (CMT).
