摘要

This report describes an investigation of the flow characteristics in a horizontal, converging-diverging nozzle for a two-phase, two-component system. The working media tested were systems of air and water. The primary consideration was to determine the effects of accelerating the liquid phase by the gaseous phase. These effects were measured experimentally in terms of nozzle exit water velocity, exit slip ratio, and exit acceleration factor.
