Analytical Method for THE DETERMINATION OF TRACE AMOUNTS OF ARSENIC IN STAINLESS STEEL

The sample is dissolved in perchloryl acid and the arsenic is distilled as halide after reduction with potassium bromide and hydrazine sulphate. The arsenic in the distillate is converted to arsenomolybidic acid, which is reduced by hydrazine sulphate to "molybdenum blue", and measured absorptiometrically.
