A SPECIFICATION OF WOOD AND CADMIUM SHIELDED CLASSⅠPACKAGES PROPOSED FOR I.A.E.A. TRANSPORT REGULATIONS - 1963

Changes in part of Annex II of the first regulations published in Safety Series No. 6 are proposed in which certain values are revised and the scope of the Annex is extended to include packages satisfying Class I requirements by the application of an advantageous combination of both mass and geometry restriction to the fissile content.nThe methods of calculation used are described and the sources of essential data are indicated.
