摘要

In a previous report, some misalignment and quadrupole error problems were considered with emphasis on a system consisting of quadruples of essentially equal strength, alternating sign, and equal spacing of nominally 40 feet along the accelerator.nThe present report presents similar calculations for several quadrupole multiple combinations spaced at sector intervals. Four representative cases - the "Spaced Doublet" (SD), "Close Doublet" (CD), "Spaced Triplet" (ST) and "Close Triplet" (CT) - are considered (see Fig. l.l). The optical properties of these lenses in periodic systems are summarized in a previous report.
