摘要

A FORTRAN computer program has been devised for the calculation of deoxyribonucleic acid molecular weights from viscosity and ultracentrifugal sedimentation velocity data. The process of data entry has been simplified by the use of special loading forms and through provisions for the entry of data in the form in which it is obtained in the laboratory. Routine use of this program at Los Alamos has increased the reliability of computed results and freed skilled operators from the necessity of performing laborious hand calculations. In addition, the increased quantities of data available encourage the design of experiments utilizing these physical techniques to their fullest extent.
