摘要

Thin ferromagnetic films of electrodeposited nickel iron have been examined:the films possess a uniaxial anisotropy. Applied magnetic fields cause the magnetisation to rotate away from the axis to a new equilibrium angle inferred from the flux changes. The flux changes were measured as a voltage time integral by a novel technique using a sampling unit and a linear diode pump circuit. The results are mainly consistent with the model in which the anisotropy varies in both direction and magnitude. The time required for the magnetisation to reverse its direction appears to be longer than in the case of evaporated films. The magnetisation reverses incoherently in a manner which can be correlated with the way in which the anisotropy varies.
