REGIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION WITH IN THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY

It centers around a relatively young and rather clearly-defined field, namely, scientific information on all aspects of the peaceful use of nuclear technology;nIt has a legal basis deriving from the EURATOM-Treaty itself, which was drawn up between six countries using four official languages;nThe vast majority of the available documents are written in English and listed in the Nuclear Science Abstracts published by the United States Atomic Energy Commission (USAEC). This makes English, for practical purposes, the working language.
