A METHOD OF IMPROVING THE RESOLUTION OF TIME SORTERS

There are a number of experiments proposed for Nimrod in which time sorters will find application. This paper examines the factors affecting their resolution and suggests a method of improving it. Experimental results are given which compare two methods of improving resolution. Finally an analysis of these results is presented which enables the resolution to be expressed in more useful form.
