A four-column D2EHPA process has been developed for the simultaneous extraction of strontium and rare earths from Purex acid waste (PAW).nThe proposed flowsheet for this process is shown in Figure 1. Pulse columns of the same general type as those used in the Purex Process were success-fully used as the contractors.
