The presence of a peak, which appears when the electrode is polarized in the "active" direction, starting from a potential lying in the transpassive zone, indicates however an irreversible behaviour.nThe aim of this paper is to give a critical discussion of the results of an investigation on the anodic behaviour of nickel in molten alkali fluoride mixtures.
