PARTICLE PRODUCTION PROM 0.6 TO 1.2 GeV/c AT THE CERN PROTON SYNCHROTRON

摘要

This report describes an intermediate energy beam - called k4 - built at the CERN P.S.,and the results of flux measurements for particles in the 600 -1200 MeV/c momentum region. The beam was designed with the following require¬ments in mind :n1) K- in the momentum range from 800 to 1200 MeV/cn2) Stopping K in hydrogen and heavy liquid bubble chambersn3) p from 0 to 1200 MeV/c.
