摘要

Finite difference stress solutions applicable to most shapes encountered in the design of rotating disks with no plane of symmetry are presented. The equations are then programmed for the 7094 computer by FORTRAN methods which are discussed in detail. Finally, the outlined methods are demonstrated in a step by step solution for the stresses inherent in a complex loaded rotating disk with no plane of symmetry.
