摘要

These studies were accomplished principally by optical methods and it is obvious that additional interesting information of the reaction at a metal surface and even inside the matrix can be obtained by using electron microscope and diffraction techniques.nA fundamental characteristic of the reaction between oxygen and niobium at higher temperatures is its rather large capacity for dissolving oxygen interstitially.nSeybolt determined the solubility limits for oxygen in niobium to be 1.38% at 775 °C to 5.52% at 1100°C(2).
