Systematics of liquid metals and alloys VII.nThe present position of systematic treatment of liquid alloys

摘要

Continuing the present systematic scheme of the properties of molten binary alloys, the results of new investigations are added and checked to what extent the classification into compound, solution, segregation, and intermediate systems is justified. Of the 789 consitutional diagrams examined with their groups of properties only 23 do not fit satisfactorily into the present scheme. The conclusions derived from the scheme are discussed.
