A Comparison of Different Methods of Particle Size Analysis

Particle size analyses were performed on several tungsten powders using four different methods for comparison. Two of the methods measured only specific surface and the other two measured particle size distri¬butions. An application of log normal transformations vas made to calculate specific surface from the size distributions and to compare the distributions obtained by different methods.
