摘要

The y-spectra of pitchblende and monazite were obtained using a lithium-drift germanium detector of icc volume and having a resolution o 3 KeV f.w.h.m. at 60 KeV. The spectrum from pitchblende is compared with spectra from radium and uranium oxide. A tentative analysis of the results is given and it appears likely that the enhanced resolution obtained with this measurement system will provide a means of uranium dis-equi1ibrium determination for minerals.
