THE USE OF DOUNREAY FAST REACTOR AS A MATERIALS TESTING REACTOR

This report is an introduction to the Dounreay Fast Reactor as a Materials Testing Reactor. It describes the facilities which are available for irradiation experiments, the environment which an experiment will experience and the methods used to calculate doses, heat ratings and burn-ups. These methods are to some extent dictated by the method of presenta¬tion of neutron data.
