摘要

The function of the Beam Switchyard (BSY) is to energy-analyze the electron beam from the Stanford two-mile accelerator and to deliver electron, positron, or photon beams to the End Stations for various experiments. The components of the beam transport systems in the Switchyard are shown schematically in Fig. 1. These components are located in the lower part of a double tunnel, a typical cross section of which is shown in Fig. 2. For a general description of the Beam Switchyard, we refer to Ref. 1 and 2.
