摘要

This cold seeding phenomenon should be considered in reactor design and operation so the enhanced contraction may be minimized.nSamples of TSX graphite were irradiated at different temperatures and exposures to 3.0 x 1021 nvt;after each irradiation the samples were annealed to approximately the graphitization temperature. In each case, the contraction upon subsequent irradiation was less in the annealed samples.
