IDENTIFICATION OF A NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED MACHINE TOOL SERVO LOOP

摘要

A Pseudo Random Binary Sequence, PRBS, signal was used to obtain the closed loop transfer function of a precision continuous path numerically controlled machine tool/control system. The study substantiates the use of the PRBS as a means of determining the frequency response of NC machines, and justifies further investigation into the use of the PRBS in the identification element of an adaptive control system.
