The X-ray fluorescence analysis of a number of binary alloys using an automated Philips PW 1520 X-ray spectrometer is described. Solution techniques have been generally employed although some applications using powders are also given. Satisfactory agreement has been obtained with results obtained by chemical methods of analysis.
