Further Tests of Dilute Solution Equations and Thermodynamic Relationships:The Vapor Pressure of Cadmium Over Liquid Alloys Containing Small Amounts of Lead

The vapor pressure of cadmium over molten lead-cadmium alloys in the dilute lead range has been measured by the isopiestic balance technique. The solvent thus show strong negative deviation from Raoult's law in a concentration region where it is conventional to assume, based on thermodynamic arguments, the Raoult's law would be obeyed or at least closely approached.
