EQUILIBRIUM TIME FOR A SQUARE PLANT VARIABLE RESERVOIR INITIAL CONCENTRATIONS

This report is an extension of the method given in UCCND Report K-1330 to allow for the effect of variations of concentration in the reser-voirs at start-up in the time necessary to reach equilibrium. The initial concentrations can be different in either the top or bottom sampling reservoirs, or both.nThe analysis is restricted to plants of small concentration, but the equilibrium time results should be applicable to all concentrations.
