摘要

The sample of aluminium foil, containing 30-100 μg of cobalt, is dissolved in concentrated hydrochloric acid and transferred to an anion exchange column. Aluminium is eluted with concentrated hydrochloric acid, and then the cobalt is eluted with water. The pH of the elate is adjusted to 5 and copper-EDTA complex solution is added, followed by PAN indicator. An equal volume of acetone is added and the cobalt is titrated using 0'002M EDTA. The end point is determined photometrically and the titer obtained graphically.
