摘要

A simple and rapid spectrophotometric method for the determina-tion of 10 to 70 μg fluoride in up to 10 mg plutonium was developed. The interference from plutonium in the determina¬tion of fluoride by zirconium - Eriochrome Cyanine R was eliminated by reduction of the plutonium to the tripositive oxidation state with mercaptoacetic acid. The sulfate ion interferes, but relatively large amounts of iron(II), nickel and cobalt can be tolerated.
