This compendium was written primarily to provide documentation for programs which solve problems that occur frequently in mathematics of computation. These programs have also been helpful in teaching programming and numerical techniques. Emphasis was placed on ease of usage, and every effort was made to provide comments on the theory be¬hind each routine, theoretical and practical limitations, and coding information.
