Effect of Mineral Fertilizers on the Qualitative Composition of Seeds and Oil of the Sunflower (Vliyanie Mineralnykh Udobrenii NA Kachestvennyi Sostav Semyan in Masla Podsolnechnika).

The chemical composition of the sunflower seeds belonging to the VNIIMK 8391 strain and grown in 1964 in soil enriched with manure was studied and certain variants of soil experiments carried out by the Farm Department of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Oil Crops. The seeds used were obtained by the following experiments: (1) doses and proportions of mineral fertilizers during the main application under the plant; (2) combination of the pre-sowing application and main application of fertilizers and (3) effect of the mineral fertilizers, applied during the autumn plowing, on the productive grade of seeds.
