CLEM – A LEGENDER POLYNOMIAL FITTING PROGRAM WITH A NON-NEGATIVITY CONSTRAINT

This report describes a program which generates constrained Legendre moments for neutron scattering angular distributions. The constraint referred to la that the angular distribution itself should be non-negative. This minimises the problem of negative angular distributions which scan design programs are unable to handle.
