The numeric solution of the fundamental mode of cylindrically symmetrical resonant cavities is achieved with a FORTRAN pro¬gram by using a double iterative process on the eigenvalue and eigenfunction. The primary input consists of the boundary of the figure, and the output consists of the three components of the electric and magnetic field that exist in this type of prob¬lem. Other output is possible, but is dependent upon the normal¬ization of the field components.
