MSA Research Corporation has been actively engaged in a program to determine the effects of sodium (a nuclear power plant coolant) and its normally anticipated contaminants on the mechanical properties of candidate structural materials for the LMFBR Program. The design and construction of test facilities and the performance of the test program are being conductad under AEC Contract AT (11-1)-765 and as modified periodically in directives from Fred C. Mattmueller (Director, Contracts Division Chicage Operations Office).
