Analysis of the Spurious Frequency Response of Mixers

The spurious frequency response of mixers is discussed and the use of a desk-top electronic calculator to find these spurious frequencies is illustrated. Programs are given to calculate the frequencies at which the designer can expect to find trouble with a specified set of input and output frequencies. Both sharply tuned and broadband output mixers are considered.
