The needs of man today, and tomorrow, require that many of the products of industry be of the highest possible quality and reliability, and these requirements continue to increase each year. The coming of the aerospace and nuclear energy ages has introduced new and greater demands with respect to quality and reliability. With these demands come the requirements for inspection and testing to assure that the level of quality necessary to provide reliability is fabricated into the product. Nondestructive testing (NDT) is ont of the most important of the many quality assurance methods that are used to test and inspect the products of industry.
