In the recovery process, ferrous sulfamate is added to the acidifies (0.5K HKC3)PAS solution to adjust neptunium to the tetravalent stats. Subsequently, one portion of 25 voles DEEe extractant is contacted successively with three approximately helf-volure pensions of the adjusted PAS ford to extract about 90％ of the neptunium.
