Laboratory research was conducted on the polymerization of vinyl monomers under super-dry conditions. Techniques and equipment were developed for super-drying (moisture 10 sup -6 to 10 sup -9 M). Experiments were conducted on vinyl chloride, liquid trioxane, beta -pinene, alpha olefins, and vinyl ethers.
