摘要

Synthesis of appreciable amounts of large molecular weight fluorocarbons from CF. and C2F6 by Cobalt GO gamma rays using flow and batch reactors with and without granular Carbon has not been feasible although small amounts of large molecular weight fluorocarbons were made. A new reaction mechanism involving abstraction reactions has been proposed for the radiolysis of saturated fluorocarbons.
