Application of a New Equation for Isotherms of Adsorption on Microporous Materials

The sorption of C sub 2 H sub 4 , CO sub 2 , and N sub 2 on synthetic zeolites above and below the critical temperatures of these gases is represented in more satisfactory fashion by a new equation recently proposed by two authors than by Dubinin's equation. The values of the quantities adsorbed at saturation, obtained by extrapolation of the two formulas, are very close. (ERA citation 04:056976)
