The Show-and-Tell (S&T) programming system is a console-oriented software package providing a facile method of using the operational components of the Illiac III computer.nThe system operates on the hardware depicted in figure 1. An overall documentation of the Illiac III computer system is con¬tained in reference [3].nS&T is designed to support two different types of programming objectives corresponding to a well-known decomposition of image processing into two phases:a preprocessing and feature-extraction phase followed by an interpretation phase.
