Tire Inflation and the Consumer. A Program to Improve Safety and Economy.

The report examines the importance of correct tire inflation pressures to consumer automobile safety, economy and ride quality. Current research findings on passenger car tire inflation and tire pressure supplied by gas station air towers are reviewed. The report makes some recommendations.
