TWTD:A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE TIME-DOMAIN ANALYSIS OF THIN-WIRE STRUCTURES

In this report we describe the Fortran program TWTD, which is used for the time-domain analysis of thin wire antennas and scatterers. The time-domain electric-field integral equation is solved to provide a time history of the induced currents. The time-dependent radiated fields can then be computed from the induced currents and frequency-domain information can be obtained using the Fourier transforms. The program was developed for use on the CDC-7600 but can be easily adapted to other machines.
