This document describes a fixture that is used in conjunction with a template for the precision grinding of specialized end mills, form cutters, countersink and counterbore tools, and step drills. ,This device is attached to a tracer-controlled universal tool and cutter grinding machine (Figure 1), and permits the tool being ground to be repositioned without the usual problems of realignment when an improcess inspection of ground surfaces is required.
