A Study of Energy Flow and Mineral Cycling in Natural Population of the Old-Field Mouse, Peromyseus polionotus

The fence is checked daily and all the captured animals are recorded, marked and released on the other side of the fence from where they were captured. Animals were also caught in live traps arranged in a grid pattern. Trapping was conducted biweekly. The cumulative remits of these studies are given in Talc 1. Previous studies had found only colionotus as a resident on this field (Smith, 1971). This year species diversity increased dramatically.
