A Measurement and Microscopic Analysis of then6Li(6Li,6Li (3.56))6Li (3.56) and the 6Li(6Li,6He)6Be Reactions

Angular distributions and an excitation function have been measured for the Li(6Li,6Li(3.56)°Li(3.5G) and the 6Li(6Li,6He)6Be reactions at laboratory bombarding energies between 28 MeV and 36 MeV. A microscopic DV7BA analysis which includes the tensor interaction and exchange gives good agreement with the data, except at forward angles, and predicts the correct magnitude of the cross sertions. Estimates of the strengths of the effective Majorana and spin-tensor isospin interactions are given.
