SEPARATION OF SULFUR ISOTOPES BY A CHEMICAL EXCHANGE METHOD

摘要

A comparison of different methods for separating sulfur isotopes to obtain large quantities of highly concentrated sulfur isotopes showed that the most promising one is a chemical exchange method in a sulfur dioxide-bisulfite ion system. However, results obtained by various authors on the values of the elementary separation coefficient and on other parameters of the process are conflicting and inadequate for carrying out the technological process.
