The main amendments laid down by this Order concern changes in the procedures for notification of applications and lodging objections to the holding of fissionable materials, as well as exemptions from licensing under the Nuclear Energy Act for establishments which are not used for a production process linked with the fuel cycle or which hold fissionable materials which do not contain plutonium or enriched uranium above certain activity limits.
