COMPUTER-CONTROLLED MACHINES FOR DIMENSIONAL INSPECTION APPLICATIONS

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to present a general description of the way computer-controlled systems operate and to cite some specific examples of their application with respect to dimensional inspection. In general, machine axis control and machine status control will be discussed. Specific examples cited will be with reference to dedicated gages, a six-coordinate (Six-Co) machine, and the Y-Z machine.
