摘要

The optical properties are reported for six organic liquids - carbon tetrachloride, n-hexane, cyclohexane, cyclohexene, 1,3 cyclohexadiene, and benzene - in the visible through the vacuum ultraviolet, 2. 0 to 10.65 eV. Two methods are used to determine the optical properties of the liquids.nIn the first method a closed cell employing a semicylinder window for measuring reflectance was used. The optical constants, n and k, were obtained from a least squares fit of the reflectance as a function of angle to the Fresnel equations.
