RAYMATH, a Computer Language for the Reduction of Data from Neutron Cross-Section Experiments

RAYMATH is a problem-oriented computer language for reduction of data residing in one-dimensional arrays. It consists of 52 modular instructions designed to manipulate 6 arrays and 32 constants. Array mathematics, special-purpose operations, and extensive plotting may be achieved readily. Free-input format permits problems to be coded and submitted through a remote-keyboard terminal. The subroutine packages for the modular instructions, as well as the language translator, are written in FORTRAN IV for a CDC-6600 computer. FORTRAN IV is a proper subset of RAYMATH.
